I can’t wait to meet you
Time is a thief, but what if we could freeze those fleeting moments forever? As a family photographer and mother myself, I know all too well how quickly they grow. One day we are capturing their little hands squeezing your finger, their tiny arms around your neck, and that nose crinkle you love so dearly. And before we know it, we are onto senior photos and one day, engagement photos. The love in those moments can be preserved! Keep forever the family moments that allow you to hear the laughter of your family as the years go by. Let’s create photos together, that will always remind you of the sweetness of these years.

Working with families
With more than 15 years of photography experience behind the lens, I have navigated so much more than simply taking pictures. I have seen and managed every version of meltdown you can think of and partnered with parents to translate family time into treasured family photos. I love getting the chance to encourage parents and giggle with littles during our sessions together. And my absolute favorite part is seeing these kids grow year after year.
Finding your family photographer is not just an investment in your time and money, but also an investment in your family. I’m so excited to start the process of building a lasting relationship with you!
The Pacific Northwest
We live in one of the most dynamic and beautiful areas of the world. I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life, from Bellingham to Cannon Beach and everywhere in between. I’ve considered Tacoma home since 2008 and couldn’t imagine a more diverse place to grow a photography portfolio.
From the Ruston waterfront to the beautiful fields at Fort Steilacoom Park, and all the amazing architecture of Downtown Tacoma… I never stop finding inspiration in my own backyard. Let me help you uncover the perfect backdrop for your family session.
I’m Devon Michelle
I’ve always been passionate about photography and now that I have a family, I’m not only a wife and mom, but daily photographer and family historian too. I have a quirky love for houseplants, camping with my family, and finding beauty in the simplicity of our time at home.
My husband, Shaun, and I have two amazing kids who are growing up way too fast. I never thought I’d love being a “boy mom” but I can tell you right now; that there is just something captivating about watching these little guys explore the world around them.
Motherhood is the hardest job I’ve ever had. It’s the messiest and most emotional… and I’ve never questioned who I was as much as I do now. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I photograph families in my care the way I would want my own family photographed.
