Have I ever mentioned how much I love the heart behind the Angel Wings Foundation?? My sweet friend Holly had a vision and a dream to reach out to families who need need help but may not ask for it...It was a little over a two years ago when my heart started to soften towards these same families. From the moment that Holly told me about Angel Wings I knew this was something that I wanted to be a part of! Over the years of getting to know Holly and her heart I am so humbled by how she has taken every step of this journey before the Lord, trusting Him to open and close doors.

I've had a chance to meet with several families who have worked with Angel Wings and joined Holly and her team for events and loved every minute of every event!  I wanted to share some images from the (SOLD OUT!) benefit concert with the Sidewalk Prophets that happened in July.  But before that happens please take a minute to read about the heart and mission of the Angel Wings Foundation...

"We are a quickly growing organization who seeks to help those people in Washington State who need it the most, but expect it the least.

I’m sure you can think of people right now who you know who have met unexpected circumstances and are not asking for a hand-out, but are quietly and heroically struggling through them.  I am proud to say that Angel Wings is making a difference in the world through these people.  We not only assist them financially, but we also care about them and are willing to help them back to a place of supporting themselves.  This is often the key to hope and restoration.

In addition to continuing to assist families and individuals in this way, AWF is building a new program to support and grow this type of compassionate giving among young people by financially supporting and rewarding children’s philanthropic efforts.  Our goal is to leave a legacy of caring and giving people in our community and beyond." - Holly Trujillo, Executive Director

I hope these words and images reach you in small ways.  In a couple days I will be announcing Holiday Mini Sessions.  Twenty Percent of the proceeds from these sessions will go directly to Angel Wings.  My hope and prayer is to bless and encourage Holly and her team in the mission they have set out to do.
