Aston Family | Tacoma

Back when the sun shining meant that it was at least a little warmer I had the chance to meet with this goofy bunch! Really enjoyed my morning running around with each of them, seeing their personalities shine through even when they had never met me before and I have a huge, black camera in front of them.

I have to admit that large families used to scare me.  However, in the last year I have had the chance to work with several larger families doing generational family photos.  These are the images that are passed along as the kids grow up.  I like to imagine that families will sit around and remember "the way things used to be" and smile with they think of how crazy loud  fun  Holiday gatherings were.  I like to believe that the disk that I send my clients don't get lost in the junk drawer, but that people order prints, big ones, put them in frames and hang them above the mantel, or the door, or whatever their thing is.

All this to say, I really, really value the family clients that I have the honor of working with.  The big families are exhausting, and I may loose my voice from trying to get everyones attention; but if I didn't really, really believe in the importance of the family photo I wouldn't be doing this.  And I wouldn't be LOVING this.   SOOO  Thank you Brenda and your lovely family for tromping around Downtown Tacoma with me so we can create some memories to pass along to the grandkids someday!
