Hope Bags - Angel Wings Foundation

Let me tell you about this little organization that waltzed into my life several years ago.  My dear friend Holly saw a need in her community, and knowing that she couldn't do it alone she galvanized those around her to help out where they can.  For the last two years the Angel Wings Foundation has hosted Hope Bags, an event that brings families together to decorate bags with messages of hope, fill those bags with products and supplies (such as gloves, hats, hygiene supplies, water and snacks) and deliver them to those who need it most.

This event happens around Thanksgiving, in fact, usually on my birthday.  So I couldn't have asked for a better reason to donate time to give back and be a part of this amazing community for the last two years!  I genuinely love having the chance to be a part of building relationships and watching families come together.  I hope that this tradition continues and that I continue to be invited to participate.  Having a chance to use my photography to help spread the word about the HOPE of this world is such a gift; and I will continue to pray that being a Tacoma Photographer will be an act of worship in all I do!

If you are interested in checking out the Angel Wings Foundation I would encourage you to do so!
