Ireland
Before I met and married Shaun I used to travel. Like, almost every weekend I was "on the road and I loved" it kind of travel. I soaked up seeing the world in any way I could, I always felt like I could learn so much by seeing a world that was bigger than me. This trip to Ireland came at at the doorstep of some huge changes in my life. I had gone to attend a wedding of a dear friend but was able to do some exploring along the way. I had strategically booked my flights so I could spend a day in New York before I landed in Ireland. I wandered the loud streets of New York, rode the subway, caught a broadway show and ate cheesecake at midnight. Less than 24 hours later I stood in the middle of a very quiet, very peaceful Irish field of sheep.
And I took a deep breathe. When in my life had I ever been able to experience such extremes of the world we lived in?
