Kevin & Kelley

Here is the thing, I photograph weddings.Not like six million weddings every year like some photographers, but a small handful of weddings every year. Usually friends, family or folks that came recommended by someone I knew. I've loved being a part of a day that is set aside to celebrate the love between two people. To stand with them as they make commitments to each other to love each other on the good days and the bad.This is Kevin & Kelley. I've known Kelley for a long time, Kevin I met more recently.  In fact I knew Kelley as a middle schooler and I was always struck by her wit and her sass. When she met Kevin she told me that he was the one - seeing them fall in love and plan their forever was so much fun. When their wedding day arrived I showed up and wrapped Kelley up in my arms, felt like a life time in just one hug. How could this little middle schooler be making such a big commitment. But you know what, even on the hardest of days that commitment is that holds things together.
