I have been so excited to share this session with you ~ as I write this both Kietra & Clothilde are exploring France! Kietra & I planned this session back in June when she was getting ready for Clothilde, an exchange student, to live with her for a month. When Clothilde joined Kietra for July we went on a grand adventure to commemorate this huge summer for both of them. A week after our shoot the two girls set off for an adventure in France!
As I was thinking about how to do a "French Inspired" session, all I could think of was macaroons, old books, cobblestone streets, cute lacy doilies, delicate flowers and lavender. It all came together the day before the session as I walked the isles of our local craft store finding the little details that made me happy. The morning of our session I was driving down the road and suddenly saw the perfect flowers that were just the thing to pull it all together. The girls and I stopped at a local bakery on the way out to our location...and purchased one of each flavor of macaroon (BTW ~ YUM!!). I just adored working with both of these lovely ladies and hope they are having the grandest of grand adventures in France!
