Michal | Downtown Tacoma Head Shots | September Film

My September film was a headshot session with my dear friend Michal. We met in downtown Tacoma during her lunch break, grabbed coffee and broke out the camera for a quick session!

This last month I've been super aware of film, the different tones of each one, the grain, contrast and sensitivity to light. I guess to make my "digital brain" understand I have to choose my preset or action before I ever take my shot. All the editing happens before I even snap the image. This session was shot with Fuji Film iso 200, purchased at the grocery store. It is everyday film, on the package is said "outdoor use".  The result is okay, but a little more warm and purple for my taste.  My October sessions were shot with Kodak Portra 160...and I am really excited to see the difference in tone and grain.
