Narelle | Sweet 16 Party

If you know me, you know that I love youth, teens to be specific.  Since I was in college I've been involved in Youth Ministry, however this last year of Shaun and I not being directly involved with the youth at our church has been good.  Its given us the time we have needed to grow as a family, to focus on being parents to Taylor and cultivate a healthy marriage.  But this didn't mean that we still didn't have relationships with the youth we had poured into for nearly 4 years at Destiny City Church.  We still saw them, hugged them, prayed for them, laughed with them and a couple weeks ago had an opportunity to celebrate with them.Just like with Kelley, I could show all sorts of incriminating photos of Narelle from 6th grade, but I don't think she'd EVER forgive me! Her father asked me to come and celebrate Narelle's 16th birthday party with them ~ what an honor!  The kids danced, ate pizza, played in the photo booth, danced some more, did the Harlem Shake (see the video proof here).  Then the entire Destiny City Church youth group crashed the party and it got LOUD!
