I feel like I've watched Noelle grow up. She first approached me six year ago as a little sixth grader looking to make some babysitting money for a class trip to France. When I asked her more about the trip is wasn't for another TWO YEARS! But it was so sweet, she had made little "cards" with her information on it so we could reach her - and we did! She was here on long summer days when I had to work from home and I needed an extra set of eyes on my energetic Taylor. And as she got older she would watch Taylor in the evenings and eventually she got old enough to get a real job and we didn't see her as much as a babysitter. But we got to see her around before and after school as she was picking up her siblings. We kept in touch through social media and I loved reconnecting with her all these years later, hearing about who she has become and what her dreams are for her future. There is so much hope in her and it inspires me to continue to cheer on this generation. And you know what - she earned the money to go on that trip to France and I got to hear all about it. I am SO SO impressed with Noelle and her perseverance to follow her dreams! I look forward to seeing all the amazing things she will do as an adult.
