November Film | Cannon Beach Oregon

In early November I was able to get away to one of my favorite places on earth. Cannon Beach. Although, in November you don't exactly take off your shoes and let the sand slip through your toes. It drizzled for most of the time we were there.

This trip was meaningful because I was able to get away with some dear friends of mine from Bellingham. We all have kiddos, so we all really REALLY appreciated not having to change diapers, wipe noses or try to get the kids to eat their dinner. We also participated in the Justin & Mary Marantz Lighting Intensive & Posing workshops.

Joe & Patience loaned me their Pentax 645 loaded with Kodak Portra800 for these images. Although Shaun is not thrilled...I think I need a Pentax 645 now. Loved the way these images turned out! Thanks to Meg & Patience for "modeling" for me, even though none of us did our hair OR makeup that morning! We were brave little things, weren't we? I still think they were adorable no matter what!
