These are the moments

These are the moments I want to hold onto. As Taylor is growing up I am forgetting the little baby moments...but I am holding on so tightly to every smile, laugh and giggle that he gives us now. I have to constantly remind myself that I am blessed to be home with him. Not because I take it for granted, but because I start to focus on the wrong things. The world sometimes fills my head with what their version of "success" is; when I am call to live differently. I am called to keep in check the selfish desires and seek the Lords direction for all things. This especially includes my business, my family and my marriage.

This year I am learning to delight in my family, especially my son. I choose to slow down, not to try and measure up to what social media is telling me is normal or perfect. And in this I choose to trust where I will be led in this season.
