The thing about family is that they go through seasons.  Some are season's of peace, season's of conflict, some of joy, some of quiet and some of turbulence and some of reconciliation.  Working with a family for years means that I get to, in many ways, walk through some of these seasons with them...find little ways to encourage and more genuinely tell a bit of their story.  There is a depth in working with a family long term that I don't get from mini sessions or from one time events.
