A backyard Covid Celebration of Marriage

When the pandemic hit none of us knew what to expect. It was all scary and a bit isolating and very, very unnerving. It set such a strange tone for what was to come. But I'd have to say not all things that emerged from 2020 were bad.  It allowed me to meet my wonderful neighbors. I heard they were having an intimate gathering to celebrate their marriage in the backyard and would not let the moment pass without having some photos to remember their day by.  I quickly grabbed my camera, my longest lens and courage to introduce myself. Since that day they have become good friends, supportive neighbors and a wonderful addition to our little neighborhood community.Shortly after their wedding Angel and I connected  about doing some photography for his Fine Jewelry business (Anthony Angel Fine Jewelry)  and I've fallen in love with his pieces!  His eye for detail and desire to create simple, elegant and meaningful art that people can wear is amazing. I have really enjoyed getting the chance to collaborate with Angel to photograph his work, it has helped me grow as a photographer and, in the process, widened my creative community.
