Casi | August Film

I'm really excited to share August film with you!  I loved working with Casi, especially knowing a little about the journey the Lord has her on right now.  I see so much character, drive and passion in this amazing gal and I feel blessed even to be just a small part of it all!  When I think of who she the word STRENGTH comes flooding into mind above everything else.   I can't tell you how much I appreciate that Casi was willing to come hang out with her old youth leader for an evening ~ LOVE this girl more than you can imagine.

On a more personal note...I was more confident this session (even though I occasionally still try and look at the back of my camera to see the shot).  Playing with the light, the film, taking my time to compose.  I shot one roll.  One.  It took about an hour for 37 exposures.  It's nuts how shooting film really does make me so much more aware.  If I was shooting digital I would have shot 300+ frames.  I would have been careless, relying on LR and PS to go back and correct errors. There is so much to be said about learning how to do things correctly the first time so I don't have to re-do work that should have been done right in the first place.
