Lexie | Blushing Bride
The morning of a wedding can be intense. All the key players in place, eyeshadow and lipstick everywhere, stepping over the cords of straighteners and curlers at the same time, weaving through dresses and locating the flowers, shoes and rings. Brides can get overwhelmed in the midst of all the frenzy of activity...but not Lexie. There was a serenity to her the entire morning. She has been preparing for this day for 20 years. I've been blessed with a chance to watch her in the process of planning and preparing for this wedding and she cared very little about all the details. She was so much more concerned about preparing her heart to become Jame's wife. I know Lexie spent countless hours of prayer, tears, laughter and hard conversations to learn what it is honor her husband. It is so rare to find someone as intentional about serving and respecting the man that God has set apart for her husband. It was such a joy to have the chance to spend some of Lexies "final hours" as a single woman together. To watch the transformation of a nervous fiance into a confident and stunning bride."Who can find a woman of worth? Far beyond jewels is her value" Proverbs 31: 10
