5 years ago today | Takenouchi Wedding

I can't believe its been 5 years...there have been so many twists and turns in our road that it's surreal that we are still standing. There have been moments of intense joy and gratitude, for example when Taylor was born two years ago.  And there have been late nights of conflict where I felt our marriage was shredded.  Five years seems like such an accomplishment, but also realize that its only five years.  Should I really feel that its an eternity and a second at the same time?

Shaun & I have grown up a lot over the last five years and I look forward to continuing to grow with him through every challenge, road block, celebration and milestone. I'll be the first to admit that we are sill learning.  Daily.  We are learning how to live together, learning how to raise (an energetic) child, learning how to push each other to become the absolute best version of ourselves. Learning how to be a better husband and wife.  We've got five years on the books...here is to many many more.
